So Friday night, me, Katie D, Edwin, and Alexa did a little potluck for dinner at Katie D's place of all different types of cheeses, crackers, bread, and dips...wow you could say carb/dairy coma hahah. I brought a baguette (which i killed yesss) and brie and swiss and a sweet chili cream cheese roll (that was a definite success too). Katie D introduced me to the best idea of heated up the brie in the microwave so its melted when you dip your bread in it, but this made us go through a brie in seconds haha. Katie D brought a bunch of good cheeses too (a really good gouda) and Edwin made chicken terryaki! it was fabulous!
We just sat around the table eating for hours haha trying to stop but it was just too good! We had so much fun joking around too. Oh and i brought Lavender, Vanilla, and licorice macaroons for Alexa's birthday too :)!
After dinner we had to force ourselves to get ready to go out haha We decided to go to Jackson's on George again because Edwin and I had vouchers for a 2 for 1 drink on House wine, beer, or sparkling wine (you can guess what i chose ;) ). Jackson's on George was fun but only because we were together haha the crowd was way different than the first time we were there, and dancing was more like laughing at all the weirdos haah.
So we decided to leave, but on the way home we passed by the Establishment (an extremely swanky/posh/chic hotel owned by the same people who own the ivy) so of course we decided to go in! The bar is gorgeous and has an outside area that is covered, so the rain glass above looks so cool at night (of course it rains everrrryyydayyy). There are all these gorgeous plants etc.
So we decide to sit down for a drink and then we see him... the unicorn.... the HOTTEST man I have EVER seen! ohhh my gosh we were dyinnngggg... He was wearing dark pants and a black button down like open at the top and then a black blazer (no tie) and he had like dark scruffy hair, oh my gosh! and thenn then... he came over to talk to me! i had been looking at him for awhile smiling ;) and then he motioned for me to come over, but i told him to come over to us so he did.
We talked for awhile and of course he was from Melbourne because all the hot guys seem to be from there! he owned his own advertising company. HOT. and kept telling me how hot i was... that nevveerr happens haha He wanted me to leave with him, but of course I wasn't going to go with some random guy, and he had to leave in the morning at 8 for a flight to melbourne ;( but i did get a kiss at least, and i will alwayyyss remember his hottness! haha
After that, Edwin, Katie, and Alexa yelled at me the entire trip home because they thought i passed up the hottest man ever and should have gone with him for a drink. well there is always next time!
