Tonight was the perfect night after some very sad news about Jill.
Tracy was the perfect person to hang out with because she has been through the same thing before, just last year a few of her very best friends died in a car accident. she saw seven people close to her pass away in one summer, i could not even imagine, she was soo nice about it too. Katie was super supportive as well, but a few of the guys invited us to bondi so i told her she should defs go, because tracy wasn't up to going out either, but we had the best night actually.
We started walking around darling harbor for a bit, and then walked a little in the city, caught the bus up to circular quay (which is right by the opera house and "The Rocks" area) we walked pass a bunch of bars that we noted we must go to before we leave sydney... and also chocolate bars! they have sooo many here, its like "the thing" in sydney.... chocolate bars where they have like hot chocolate with every flavor, chocolate fondue, chocolate belgian waffles, crepes, chocolates, shakes, etc etc, and every one is like a fancy restaurant.... but anyways, we walked over to the opera house and went to the opera bar which is right outside, it was GORGEOUS! we sat just along with water and both had a bottle of cider, it was magnificent, suchhhh a pretty night... and a live band was playing outside and there were all these people, i didn't want the night to end... Tracy and i found our future home (a penthouse that looks over the opera house and the entire harbor) ;) we sat there for a bit, and then walked to get ice cream of course... Tracy is definitely my weakness when it comes to sweets!!! i think she almost has as much of a sweet tooth as me! we went to this place called gelatissimo that had like a billion flavors ( i tried like 8 haha including lychee, guava, carmalised fig, white chocolate) but then i ended up getting 3 scoops in a cone, yes 3 scoops! it was huge hahaha but tracy got three scoops to, so of course i had to as well :) i got mint chip, an italian type of cookies and cream, and banana... sooo yum... tracy and i then walked around this area called "the rocks" with all these fun bars and restaurants (of course noting which ones we wanted to go to) haha we decided that during the week, we are going to come here for dessert every night and to get a drink :) i love sydney at night, its just so beautfiul.
Then we walked back and caught a bus to home, where then
then it was off to bed,
tomorrow blue mountains!!!!!
