Monday another day at work, Laura wasn't here because she was skiiing and Fiona was in Melbourne for training so it was pretty quiet.
Right after work i quickly got home, made dinner, and met Lindsay, Alex, and Katie D for Trivia night in Bondi Beach (apparently they have been twice now to this bar that does trivia where the winners of each round get free shots, and then the overall winners get a $50 bar tab... and not to mention they have a happy hour before 8:30 with $2 beers and $3 wine... well Katie D and Linsday first got introduced by this group of guys who helped them all win as a group two weeks in a row!) So..... we went back as reigning champions :) hahaha but anyways, we got there and already had their $50 bar tab from last week, but it didn't count for happy hour, so before trivia started (it started around 9--it almost didnt start because there were barely any people there haha) we got some happy hour drinks-- i got myself some merlot red wine, and some sparkling white wine... and alex, lindsay, and katie got a bunch of beers, and we of course had to get some wedges too hahaha.... so the people that Katie and Lindsay won with were there of course and we were going to do one big team, but then since there were barely any other teams, we decided to go against them! we were nervous because they were really good, but katie d knows sooo much random trivia!! hahaha
so round 1, they won by 1/2 a point! grrr
but then round 2, we won! and we won a round of peach schapps shots yesss haha
and then round 3, we won! so overall we won the whole thing!! wohooo! just us four kiddies against all the other people yesss! we rock! haha so we have another $50 bar tab that we are defs saving after a day at bondi beach :)
so trivia was super fun and we stayed a little after to finish our pitchers of beer, then we decided we could not just call it a night because its lindsay's last week here! so we went over to check out the line for scuba bar (its this really cute little bar that gets suppperrr crowded and there is usually a 2 hour wait! and on monday's they do hermit crab races bahahah...anyways it was already almost midnight but there was still a line!) so we decided to just go to some irish pub that we had been to before, and little did we know it was reggae night hahaha and it was sooo crowded! on a monday at 1am?? weird hahaha so we stayed and drank there, having soo much fun just us four :) 2 am rolled around and we realized that we actually needed to maybe sleep for work tomorrow hahaha but we just had to do tim tam slams in lindsay's room because lindsay also promised kelly that she would make me try her lady grey tea (kelly and i love tea haha) so we all went back and did a bunch of tim tam slams and ended up talking for another hour! i didnt get back until 3! but what fun we had :)
