SKYDIVING!!!

this morning, Bethany, Jackie, Lindsay, April and I JUMPED OUT OF A PLANE AT 14,000 feet and CHANGED OUT LIVES FOREVER!!

I am having trouble writing this blog post because i cannot explain within words the amazingness of skydiving, like literally.

skydiving was the BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE!! it was the most amazing feeling ever i like cannot even explain it!!!!!! i wanna go again and again and again... i'm addicted!! and i was not even scared for ONE second!! like i ahve never felt so safe and free! i cannot wait to go again!! (i'm so going when i am abroad)

so anyways, let me tell you more details.... so we all woke up at the crack of dawn to get to the sky diving center by 7 am so we could drive a bus an hour away to a place in the middle of no where called picton.... when we got there, there were already professionals landing in the "landing area" and people dropping out of hte sky! haha so funny.... after we paid, we had to wait until they called out names, we were all SOOO EXCITED!! it like wasn't even hitting me that i was about to jump out of a plane at 14,000 feet hahaha and i am like terrified of heights too, but anyways, when they called out names, we each got paired up with a guy... who were all SO funny! the guys were making jokes at us the whole time hahaha... lindsay's guy was my fav of all! (he made faces the whole way down in her video and gave her a wet willy without her knowing! hahahahaha) we all got suited up in these hot suits ... as my guy told me what to do... they also started video taping us becausee we bought dvds and pics (which are amazing btw) then we all walked over (joking around and jumping of excitement the whole time!!!) to this little plane and took off!! it was the most fun plane ride ever too! because we were all squished together in this little plane (it was actually soo comfy haha) and it was so pretty! the guy strapped to me was showing me all the places we could see in the distance... up and up and up we went!! at 5,000 feet we let some professional out who was going to practice his parachuting skills, and he just jumped out like no biggie hahaha... and then all of a sudden, they were like 3 minutes!!! and then the door opened and then boom there went bethany and i had to scramble on my glasses and then boom there went april, then lindsay and then me! and then jackie and then ben!! all within just 5 seconds of each other... i didnt even have time to say okay im ready, we just slide down the plane and boom jumped out!!!! its so cool because the engine of the plane just stops and then we hang outside the plane looking down for one second and just fall... free fall was 60 seconds and i dont even know if we were up side down or right side up hahahah it was such a crazy feeling (really really windy!) i had a thumbs up the whole time! and then the parachute opened and it was BLISS , literally!!! all quiet because my ears were plugged and then we just floated omg omg omg it was sooo sooo amazing!!!!!!!! i got to move the parachute too!! we glided for about 5 minutes or something and i was just in heaven!!! i wanna go again and again!!!! and then my landing was hilarious!!

so you have to put your legs up so that you don't touch the ground first (or else you could break something) but since i was taller then my guy, i wanted to make sure not to hit the ground, so fight or flight kicked in and i turned into miss flexible gumby because when i landed apparently my legs were like straight up ahhahahaha but omg it was sooooooo fun and cool!!!!!
