not many people can say they have been hit in the eye by a champagne cork...

I think the title explains enough for this blog post itself haha. So Saturday night after our amazing Mammas dinner, I was all set and ready for my dancing hip-hop night. I had on my kicks and a hot black blazer, and of course some smoky sparkle eyes...ready for the night! So I go over to Katie D's room to pregame, all excited to drink my "passion pop mixed berry champagne".
I go into the bathroom to grab a towel to cover the champagne cork when I open it and next thing I know it pops off and hits me in the eye! I drop down to the floor holding my eye, and semi-yell calmly for everyone to come over to me explaining that it hit my eye. It didn't hurt that much but I thought maybe i was in shock, so i was nervous that my eye was bleeding or something and I was seeing black spots in my left eye... not good. But luckily April ran over (laughing a little bit hahah) and she grabbed my champagne before it spilled everywhere! Then i just had to ice my eye... and then i started laughing hahaha...not many people can say that they have been hit in the eye with a champagne cork! but after icing it for a bit, I was bummed because I just couldn't make it out. I still finished my bottle of champagne, so classy with a rag over my swollen eye haha And then afterwards i got a "maxibon" honeycomb ice cream bar to treat myself :)
Oh what started off as such a good night! But we are already making up stories to tell when i have a good black eye tomorrow hahaha
(but now i can say that my eye actually was safe! just a little red the next few days but i am sooo lucky it didnt go directly into my eye but hit my bone a little protecting it, thank goodness!)
