to celebrate the fourth, we had a little potluck party in lauren's room! just relaxing and fun to all be together... and of course we did sparklers!!
i brought corn on the cob haha and of course we had plenty of tim tams, and bethany and mallory made the best southern style chocolate chip cookie cake (kind of like a blondie)-- they were so rich i felt like i was eating from that lady on the food channel, i just forgot her name, but her main ingredient is butter hahaha
and then kelly and lindsay (they always bake like intense cakes and tarts) made this fruit tart... it had a digestives crust on the bottom with a cream cheese/whipped cream filling, and then bananas and strawberries and raspberries for the stripes, and blueberries and white chocolate chips for the stars (it looked like a flag!!) it was sooo cute! and oh soo tasty!!!
kelly and i are planning baking parties.. can't wait!!
